Live concert featuring Lucinda Drayton & Marcus Cliffe

Lucinda Drayton, former lead singer of Bliss, has that unique ability to touch and open the heart. Completely at home on stage she will invite you to accompany her on a mesmerising musical journey. Lucinda creates a sound that goes way beyond tuning and technique (which she also has in spades). It’s a sound that is born of deep authenticity. A voice that has nothing to hide, one that demonstrates a level of trust that allows her audience to completely relax.

Lucinda is also a  gifted songwriter; to date she has written a number one pop hit, a top 20 hit, had songs placed in films and released nine  solo albums. Inspired by her own inner journey, the songs traverse the big questions around love, death, consciousness and the divine. Her melodies are sometimes haunting and Celtic and at other times sassy and soaring. The music moves across many genres but never loses its honesty.

Joining her on guitar and piano is top London session player Marcus Cliffe. Marcus has played with many great artists from Al Green to Marc Knopfler. From Tasmin Archer to Emmylou Harris and Baby Spice. He has played at The Stables many times and was last here with The Manfreds. Marcus is also a solo artist and will be sharing some tunes from his debut album.
