In 1959 the Jacques Loussier Trio released a seminal album called Play Bach. Their blending of jazz and classical led to a new musical genre called 'third stream'. The trio went on to sell more than seven million records and play 3000 concerts worldwide. Jacques Loussier sadly passed away in March, by way of tribute the Dominic Alldis Trio will be performing new jazz arrangements of classical themes that pay homage to his remarkable achievement.
The Stables will be opening its doors from 11am, so before each concert you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a hot bacon roll, along with a full bar and snack bar service – the Sunday papers will be available too!
