Variety is back with a capital V as legendary British Entertainers Kenny Lynch OBE and Don Maclean MBE swap their golf clubs for a unique night of comedy and music, in the company of some talented friends.

These evergreen performers who are recognised worldwide as masters of light entertainment, will take audiences back to the golden days of entertainment when families would gather around the television to watch variety specials such as Sunday Night at The London Palladium and Live From Her Majesty's. Now, in 2018 Swing With Laughter recreates those magical shows and adds a modern flavour for today's audiences who are enjoying the current revival in the popularity of variety.

Great talent is featured in abundance, with singer, songwriter, comedian and entertainer Kenny Lynch leading the way. Kenny, who will be performing his many hits including the number one, Up on the Roof and Stand By Me, will be joined on stage by Carry On star, singer, dancer and West End leading lady Anita Harris. Anita who certainly knows about variety having appeared in seven Royal Command Performances, will regale the audience with annecdotes from her amazing career, while performing hits such as Just Loving You and The Anniversary Waltz.

Fans of the eighties satire classic Spitting Image will certainly be aware of the multi-talented impressionist Jessica Martin. Having provided the voices of many popular characters, she went on to star in the hit ITV show Copy Cats and since then has demonstrated her vocal talents while starring in West End shows such as Me and My Girl. In this show she will also be performing her acclaimed tribute to Judy Garland, which she had the honour of performing at a Royal Command Performance.

Don Maclean has been a TV regular since his days as the resident comic on Crackerjack for the BBC. He also hosted his own show – Good Morning Sunday on Radio 2 for 16 years. Known as a machine gun of quick-fire gags, audience members will have the chance to name any subject with the guarantee that Don will have a series of hilarious jokes about it!

The role of compere goes to David Alacey. Between introducing the fabulous stars of the show, David who is acknowledged as one of the world's greatest interpreters of Swing music, will be saluting legends such as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and his own dear friend Buddy Greco.
