Regarding emails sent in error overnight on 22 July
Updated 5.30pm, 23 July 2020
A series of five emails were sent out in error to many of our customers during the night of Wednesday 22 July.
These emails were not the result of a third party hacking of our box office system – they were sent due to an administrative error on our part while setting up an automated information email for actual bookers for our Movies on the Mound season in August.
We sincerely apologise for this mistake and also for the confusion and distress that the emails may have caused. Due to the stacking process within our emailing software, some of the remaining five emails are still to be delivered to some customer inboxes over the coming days - these are part of the group sent in error on 22 July and should be disregarded.
Please be assured that no personal data has been shared or put at risk, nor were any payments taken from customers for the shows mentioned in the emails. Please also be assured that The Stables does not hold credit or debit card details of any customers.
For those customers who have contacted us directly by email, we would ask for your patience. We are currently operating a limited box office service as a result of the Covid-19 restrictions and will reply as soon as we possibly can.
Thank you for your understanding.
