Cine espãnol para jóvenes: a KS3 Spanish Study Day

These events are intended for teachers and students only.
Tickets £10 per student; £1 per adult accompanying every 5 students; for any additional adult the student rate applies.  £40 for teachers attending without students. Discounts are available to Buckinghamshire  chools and Milton Keynes schools serving communities experiencing disadvantage. Please contact BFI on 020 7815 1329 or / 01908 280821 to find out more.

Focusing on a suitable selection of short films, such as Emperrado (2009), La Leyenda del Espantapájaros (2205) and La Huida (2011), the interactive morning session will highlight themes of interest to young people while offering glimpses into Spanish life and culture.

There will be interactive activities in the target language and vocabulary extension related to the films. There are opportunities for students to learn more about film language and also to act out small dramas on stage which will help consolidate learning.

The afternoon comprises an introduced screening of the popular feature film, Zipi y Zape y el club de la canica (2013).  The day will be led by Nicola Fahidi, Head of MFL, Immanuel College, Bushey

Ticket fee information

All ticket prices on this website are published inclusive of booking fees. From 14 January 2020 a new per ticket booking commission fee structure will apply. For tickets up to and including £10, a fee of £1 per ticket will be charged. For tickets between £10.01 and £15, a fee of £1.50 per ticket will be charged. For tickets between £15.01 and £25, a fee of £2.50 per ticket will be charged. For tickets over £25, a fee of £3.50 per ticket will be charged.
