In small groups you’ll learn how to collaborate with other songwriters, how to start to generate musical and lyrical ideas, song structures, what works and what doesn’t, and if are there ‘rules’ and when to break them. Suitable for anyone wanting to
try songwriting for the first time, or those that have already started their songwriting journey.
Workshop leader John Bowman is founder of the Notivate singer/songwriting programme, and has helped more than 5,000 young people in Europe and Africa to record over
1,000 songs. As a pianist and arranger he collaborates regularly with established singer- songwriters, touring widely and appearing on numerous commercial recordings.
