A once-in-a-generation talent
Growing up inside a cult, Katey Brooks found refuge in song. A rebellious artist that resists formula, the ‘powerful’ (Evening Standard) award-winning singer, songwriter & producer brings a seamless blend of Americana, Folk and Pop to listeners’ ears, which has earned her radio play from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, 6music, Canada’s CBC, Jazz FM, and Amazing Radio amongst many others.

Joined by How Dare She
How Dare She are Naomi Cook (vocals/guitar), Louise Victoria (vocals/bass/keys/percussion) and Bindy Baker (vocals/cajon). Based in Bristol, they harness a fierce vocal talent, combining their collective powers with boldly honest songwriting. Stirring and mesmeric harmonies contribute to a stripped back, intimate and unforgettable sound.
Together they deliver music that exists to comfort, cry out, rally and connect. Grit and depth are mixed with humour and sass, and the music is vulnerable, punchy, whip smart and mischievous. Their songs speak of injustice, defiance and love, but they are not soft. How Dare She are here to be seen and heard.
