Lee Scriven: My Modrophenia - Celebrating Milton Keynes' 60th Birthday

Saturday 23 January 2027 12:30pm
Jim Marshall Auditorium
£11 (inc. booking fee)

Lee Scriven premieres this bespoke multimedia theatre production, blending film, live music and storytelling to recount his teenage journey of discovery in the new city of Milton Keynes.

Set against the backdrop of the unforgettable summer of 1974, My Modrophenia offers a nostalgic and often humorous glimpse into growing up in a city still finding its identity. Featuring live performances of classic songs of The Who by Martyn Snapes and Sheniah Asiamah, the show captures the spirit, energy and rebellion of a generation, bringing to life the teenage wasteland that was Milton Keynes in its formative years.

A unique celebration of music, memory and the making of a New Town, My Modrophenia is a must-see for anyone who remembers the era - or wants to discover it for the first time.
