The internationally acclaimed BBC Big Band, led by renowned conductor Barry Forgie and featuring special guest vocalist Matt Ford, takes to the stage to for a celebration of the timeless music of Cole Porter.

Through a wonderfully diverse repertoire, the concert showcases the musical genius of one of the most influential composers of the 20th century.  Porter was renowned for his music for Broadway shows and Hollywood movies, such as Kiss Me Kate, High Society and Anything Goes - and it would also go on to form a cornerstone of the Great American Songbook.

The evening will feature a sparkling selection of music exploring the full spectrum Porter’s incredible body of work - specially arranged and reimagined for big band and performed in the orchestra’s unmistakeable, swinging, style.   Expect numbers such as Let’s Do It, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Anything Goes, Begin the Beguine, Love For Sale and many more gems.

Join us for an evening of world-class musicianship, as we celebrate the wit, elegance, and musical genius of one of popular music’s greatest composers.
