Electric Vehicle Charging Posts

The Electric Vehicle Charging Posts at The Stables are located in the VIP ‘Founders’ Car Park and are managed by BP Pulse. Each charging post has two 32A power outlets, charging at 7kW, labelled ‘Socket 1’ and ‘Socket 2’.

Procedures

The charging posts require the user to have the BP Pulse App on their mobile phone, plus a Type 2 charging cable to connect to the post. Charging sessions can also be activated using an RFID card. If you have an RFID card, you will need to hold it to the post for 2 seconds to start or stop your session. Once the vehicle is cabled to the post, the charger’s lights will change from blue to green.

Using the App

Once the vehicle is connected, the app can be used to start your charge. Enter the charge point ID (serial number printed on the front of the charging point) Click 'Start Charge'. The app will also ask you which socket you are using.

Tariffs

There are currently 3 different tariffs, dependent on whether you are making a one-time payment using the service as a guest, or if you use an RFID card as a PAYG customer, or if you are using an RFID card with a BP Pulse subscription.

As charges can vary, Live pricing can be obtained by visiting the BP Pulse network: https://network.bppulse.co.uk/pricing/

BP Pulse customer service: 0330 016 5126

We would advise you to arrive early to ensure access to the posts.
