An exhibition of paintings to music and surrealist dreamscapes by visual artist Fiona Wilson

This collection touches truths and ideas about time, space, feelings, thoughts and memory and how art and music offer sanctuary, reflection and unbridled self expression.

The colour-rich, theatrically complex pastel and mixed media paintings draw inspiration from the early surrealists and abstract expressionists and combine an abstracted non-representational language of line, texture, colour and gestural mark-making with dynamic shape referencing the real world to create narratives that provoke the viewer to search deeper.
