Taking part in music making and musical learning are central to The Stables’ mission, bringing music to the widest possible audience and enriching lives through music.

In 2025/26, we are providing opportunities for school students across all five Key Stages to engage with music-related activities and events taking place at The Stables – the first-time we have been able to offer this breadth of provision.

Our Pay-It-Forward initiative provides free and heavily subsidised tickets for younger audiences who may not otherwise be able to attend live events. This ensures that financial barriers don't prevent anyone from enjoying the wellbeing, learning and social benefits that come from participating in culture and the arts.
