2023 was a big year for Demi Marriner. Not only with her own music but also as a member of the Elles Bailey Band, who have just won AMAUK’s Live Act of the Year award, touring with Elles on guitar and backing vocals throughout the year.

Demi then released her highly anticipated debut album, The Things We Didn’t Say, in July 2023, followed by a series of sold-out record release shows featuring her full band.

Winning the Emerging Artist 2023 award at Black Deer Festival gained her a brand-new audience (not to mention a brand-new guitar from Gretsch). Demi also made it onto the festival’s highlights video then went on to play an array of festivals before embarking on her own headline full-band tour across the country.

Demi is set to have an even bigger 2024 with plenty of touring and festivals on the horizon, including the return of the Girls Night In tour in February 2024, which took to stages like Bush Hall in London and the Sage in Gateshead and was featured on BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat. She’ll then be heading out to support acclaimed blues artist Dom Martin on his UK tour in April.

She has also been nominated in three categories at the UK Blues Awards for 2024.

Demi will be playing festivals throughout the summer whilst embarking on two headline tours with her band, which features AMAUK nominated Instrumentalist of the Year 2024 Joe Coombs on guitar.

I can’t wait to head back out on the road with this album. I'm so proud of it – I think it’s raw and honest and encompasses all of those musical influences that I love so much. And watch out for some brand-new material in the works for the next one too!’  Demi Marriner
