
Emily Maguire is an independent British singer-songwriter, composer, poet, multi-instrumentalist and award-winning mental health advocate. She has released seven albums, had three singles playlisted on Radio 2 and toured extensively with the likes of Don McLean, Dr Hook and Eric Bibb, playing major concert halls and theatres across the UK.
Known for her thought-provoking lyrics, expressive voice and highly emotive songs “bathed in raw emotional power” (Guitarist Magazine), Emily has a remarkable, inspiring story to tell and has been featured in interviews on Radio 2’s Good Morning Sunday and Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, Front Row and Midweek. She has sung her songs for many mental health hospitals and groups, work which in 2019 won her the Mogens Schou Award for Public Service and Advocacy.
Emily is accompanied by violinist and viola player Sue Lord who has played with Peter Gabriel and Newton Faulkner among many others.
