The New Acoustic Band – An Evening of Stories & Songs

Step into a unique and intimate musical experience with The New Acoustic Band - an extraordinary gathering of world-class musicians led by Jim Cregan.

With a career spanning over six decades, Jim is best known for his long-standing collaboration with Rod Stewart, co-writing and producing iconic hits such as Tonight I’m Yours, Forever Young and Passion. His journey through music has seen him work with legends including Cat Stevens, Joe Cocker, Elton John, Jeff Beck, and Tina Turner, earning more than 50 gold and platinum records along the way.

Joining him on stage is an exceptional lineup: Sam Tanner on piano, whose credits include The Who and The Faces; Pat Davey on bass, a highly sought-after session musician with a global touring career; Stuart Elliott on drums, known for his work with Cockney Rebel and Kate Bush; and Marion Fleetwood, whose stunning strings and vocals bring a rich, folk-infused dimension to the sound.

Together, they create something truly special - an evening that blends music, storytelling and laughter. Drawing on a remarkable shared history, the band revisits classic songs, hidden gems, and original material, all delivered with warmth, humour, and effortless musicianship.

This is more than a concert. It’s a rare chance to experience the stories behind the songs, performed by the people who lived them.

Expect great music. Expect great stories. Expect magic.
