Laurence Jones

Supported by Amy Eftekhari Tickets

Liverpool-based blues-rock artist Laurence Jones comes to The Stables with a special acoustic solo concert, returning to his roots: pure blues!

The award-winning and critically acclaimed blues artist has opened for the likes of Ringo Starr, Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, and Johnny Winter, and toured with Status Quo on their farewell tour in 2024. Buddy Guy once called him "a young Eric Clapton," and that pretty much says it all.

With his virtuoso guitar playing and raw, personal songs, Laurence has built a loyal fan base throughout Europe. This year, he will release his first solo album, released on his own label, RON RECORDS, a tribute to his grandfather. The album is an intimate, honest work in which he captures his life with Crohn's, love and the endless miles on the road in captivating blues.

Jones returns to his roots: pure blues. Raised on classical guitar, he now combines his musical heritage with the energy of the blues-rock that made him famous. His new show feels intimate and personal, yet simultaneously bursting with the power and tradition of the blues. Laurence Jones proves once again why he's considered one of the absolute top performers in the genre.
