Rory Bremner & Special Guests

Tickets

A very special night comedy live at The Stables!

Rory Bremner is widely regarded as Britain’s top satirical impressionist (‘a one-man opposition party’ Daily Telegraph). As a mimic, he’s provided definitive impersonations of PMs and Presidents from Major to Mandela, Blair to Brown, Clinton to Cameron and Bush to Trump. As himself, he’s been presenter, writer, quiz-show host, actor, translator and even (briefly) ballroom dancer. (Strictly, 2011. WTF?) In a TV career of over 30 years, he’s won numerous awards, including three BAFTAs for his long-running Channel 4 satire series Bremner Bird & Fortune, featuring Rory and the two Johns. Meanwhile, he’s guested on many other comedy shows (Whose Line Is It Anyway, Spitting Image, Have I Got News for You and Mock the Week, where he was team captain for two series) He was a regular guest on both Wogan and Parkinson and has frequently appeared on Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Now Show, Radio Scotland’s Breaking The News and his own shows, Tonight and Bremner’s One Question Quiz.

Shappi Khorsandi'*s career has taken her to all corners of the globe. She has appeared on countless TV & Radio shows, including: Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, I’m a Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here, Mock The Week, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, MasterChef, Have I Got News For You, QI, Pointless Celebrities, Question Time and Just a Minute, as well as her own show, Shappi Talk.

Alex Kealy* is a stand-up comedian who mixes smart political material with self-deprecation and incisive observations. In his first year of performing, he reached the final of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny competition and is now a “rising star of the British stand-up scene” (The List). He has taken six hours of stand-up to the Edinburgh Fringe, the latest being 2024’s The Fear, which was received to packed rooms and critical acclaim. The Daily Telegraph calls him "sharply witty, almost sexily cerebral" while The List raved about his "breakneck pace with surprising turns in eloquent comic’s wonderful new hour" (★★★★). He has toured his last three shows, including sold-out appearances at London's Soho Theatre. He's currently supporting Jack Dee on 50 dates of his nationwide Small World tour.
