King, James Brown, Jimmy Witherspoon, Georgie Fame, to Paul McCartney and many many others - not to mention rock'n'roll icon Jerry Lee Lewis, who once declared him to be “The greatest sax player I have ever worked with.”
As a broadcaster, Leo has scripted and presented many series on BBC Radio including: Sounds Of the 50s, Celebrating The Great American Songbook, documentary series on Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen, Sammy Davis Jr, Dean Martin, Roy Orbison, Bobby Darin, Ella Fitzgerald, as well as an In Conversation series featuring songwriters, Van Morrison & Ervin Drake, among others.
