Alina Orchestra presents the culmination of their first Conducting Weekend with a final workshop featuring all of the participants who have taken part in an intensive two-day course to develop their conducting careers.
On this final day of the course, participants are given the opportunity to conduct Alina Orchestra in front of a live audience and judging panel. This unique ‘behind the scenes’ experience is an opportunity for a audience to see the judging process, during which one highly rated participant will be selected to conduct one work during the Alina Orchestra concert later in the evening.
The weekend is led by Alina Orchestra’s Musical Director, and renowned conductor, Hilary Davan Wetton.
