Workshop fee: £42
The mandolin is great as a melody or rhythm instrument and this workshop will look at developing your technique and how to play in more styles of music including jazz, classical, rock, as well as bluegrass and folk. It is suitable for those who have been on the Mandolin Beginners Part 1 workshop or who already have some basic experience of mandolin and can play basic open chords and a few scales or tunes.
An ability to read tablature is useful but not essential. Bring a mandolin if you have one, or contact education@stables.org if you need to borrow one (limited numbers available).
Refreshments:
Tea & coffee is provided.
Participants on a full day workshop or course should bring a packed lunch and other snacks.
