CREATIVE SONGWRITING

If you’ve had a go at writing your own songs or have never tried before, come along for a creative day of music making. Work with other young musicians to create a brand-new group song, writing and recording in just one day.

Through warm-ups, word games, musical play and teamwork in this workshop you’ll learn how a song can start, how to contribute ideas, listen to other people’s ideas and bring them all together to create and record a brand-new group song.

You’ll help to create lyrics, tune, and arrangement, and record vocal tracks with musical backing from the workshop leaders.
