Prokofiev: Peter and the Wolf, op.67
Lyon: Game: Football Variations for Audience and Orchestra

Conductor: Hilary Davan Wetton
Narrator: Susie Riddell

Brand new from Alina Orchestra - their first ever Family Concert features Prokofiev’s symphonic folk tale for children Peter and the Wolf. The piece introduces children to individual instruments in the orchestra, as a narrator tells the story of Peter’s encounter with a wolf, with quick thinking and the help of his friends – a bird, a duck and a cat – Peter captures the wolf and it is taken to the zoo.

Peter and the Wolf continues to be enjoyed today by children all over the world

Peter and the Wolf is joined by a piece of music unlike any other. Game takes the audience into the football arena where they become supporters of either ‘Rovers’ or ‘United’. Be part of a game, shout chants and celebrate goals.

The audience is definitely the star in this interactive experience for the whole family!
