Counter's Creek is an acoustic folk band based in London who make original music inspired by the folk music of the British Isles and beyond. Jigs, reels, songs and grooves from Eastern Europe & West Africa, 4-part harmony and catchy melodies allied to a real sense of swing and dance energy.
Jonathan Taylor (whistles/flute); Ben Cox (voice/whistles/flute/harmonium; Tom Newell (violin/banjo) and Moss Freed (guitar). This concert will feature beautiful new melodies, folk based rhythms plus songs both original and traditional from the English/Irish/Scottish songbook from vocalist Ben Cox, who will sing and play harmonium.
