Mari Wilson - A Very Mari Christmas Party

  • This event has now passed

Nymphette of the Nail Varnish and the High Priestess of Hair Spray, acclaimed songstress MARI WILSON presents a Christmas cracker of a show featuring her 8-piece band The New Wilsations. At the helm will be Musical Director Richard Cottle guiding singers, horns and a red-hot rhythm section through sackfuls of merry harmonies and soul-stirring tidings of great joy.

Mari is thrilled to announce that top of the invite list are her very special guests THE MIKE FLOWERS POPS, with crooner and song stylist MIKE FLOWERS who will be adding some sartorial elegance and groovy melodies to the party. To kick off the evening, the fabulous MEYER DANCERS will add an extra touch of glittering panache with their disco class and unique brand of 60s Go-go dancing.

Also coming aboard the sleigh-ride is snappy dresser and VP of Vinyl DJ MARTIN GREEN, spinning some festive 45’s to get us in the mood for boppin’ around the Christmas tree.

Mari will be performing her much-loved, fabulous hits, Just What I’ve Always Wanted, Cry Me A River, Beat the Beat and many more favourites, along with tunes of yuletide yesterdays. Singalong-a-Christmas, competition prizes and plenty more seasonal surprises will be sure to captivate, charm and entertain you until you drop, like the needles of a Norway Spruce.

Dressing up is encouraged - it’s Christmas after all - so don’t get your tinsel in a tangle, rummage through your gladrags and doll yourself up with something cheery and bright to ensure your holidays go with a swing, as you join Mari and her guests for a bumper of a Christmas party.
