After 14 years of playing bass guitar with QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT, a position he still occupies, Neil Fairclough along with some of the UK’s best musicians come to THE STABLES with their band THE DECCAN TRAPS.

Having worked with big names in music such as QUEEN, FAITHLESS, TOM ROBINSON, TITO JACKSON, GARY BARLOW, DONNY OSMOND, NICK HEYWOOD, BEVERLEY KNIGHT, The Deccan Traps came together to record their debut album released November 2024.

The album has had a glowing reception, including from none other than SIR BRIAN MAY. Brian contributed his epic guitar work (and speaking voice!) to ‘Dream of a Thousand Nights’, the centrepiece track on the album.

The voice of THE DECCAN TRAPS is world-class vocalist Ricardo Afonso who played the lead Galileo in ‘We Will Rock You’ at the Dominion Theatre London and Judas in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ at the Barbican, London. Ricardo delivers TDT’s epic prog influenced rock, arena anthems and beautiful acoustic ballads as anyone who has seen him front The Classic Rock Show will attest.

“This is truly epic. The Deccan Traps are evolving at a frightening rate. It’s so great to see real talent and innovation allied to such a grand passion. Proud to call them my friends. Gotta own this album!!” – BRIAN MAY

“Timeless sounds, turned up to 11 ” – CLASSIC ROCK

“If you love soaring vocals, powerful riffs, and classic British rock vibes, you won’t want to miss this one.” – NOW SPINNING MAGAZINE
