The Enid

  • This event has now passed

The Enid was founded by Robert John Godfrey, Francis Lickerish and Stephen Stewart in 1973, recording their debut album, In The Region Of The Summer Stars the following year. (Released through EMI International).

The early years of the band were personified by two lead guitarists, fighting it out on stage in front of large crowds at the famous London Marquee Club. Since the 1980s the band had to make do with just one magnificent virtuoso - Stephen Stewart.

LINE-UP EXPANSION FOR AUTUMN TOUR

2023 sees the expansion of the band's touring line-up with the introduction of virtuoso guitarist Alfredo Randazzo and renowned bassist Tim Harries. A tour is planned for the autumn and new music for the fans will be forthcoming. The hard work of arranging the performing repertoire to include the new guys is well underway.
