Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolan and Jay Aston – three names that are iconic in Eurovision history – once members of the Eurovision-winning group, Bucks Fizz, now known as The Fizz!!
Sadly in November, Mike Nolan will be leaving the girls but in 2025 they will be joined by Matthew Pateman and Nikk Mager.
With a string of over 20 hits under their belts, including their No. 1 Hits, Land of Make Believe, My Camera Never Lies and, of course, Making Your Mind Up, The Fizz continue to astound their audiences with their vocal prowess and superb entertainment value.
The past few years have been incredibly busy, both on stage and in the studio. They have performed at festivals and 80s weekends all over the country, plus recoded four albums with the legendary Mike Stock of Stock, Aiken and Waterman fame.
Cheryl and Jay will be fizzing more than ever in 2025 with their two new guys Matthew and Nikk.
Matthew rose to fame as the lead singer of the 1990s boy band, Bad Boys Inc and Nikk was a member of the boy band Phixx, after appearing on Popstars: The Rivals, in 2002. Both bands had great chart success. With another album on the cards and gigs flying in by the day, 2025 looks as though it will be the busiest yet for The Fizz.
Exciting times ahead!
