Sunsinger & the High Seas is the project of Simon Gutteridge, a Bedfordshire-based songwriter. Whether performing solo, with band or as a duo, expect alt-country, folk and Americana-tinged songs with a hint of pop, with tunes packed full of catchy melodies and soaring choruses, sung with a whole lot of heart.
Notable past support slots include: Ian McCulloch of Echo & the Bunnymen, Bryde, Tom Grennan, China Crisis, Big Country (3 times!), the South (Ex Beautiful South members) , Doctor Feelgood, the Wedding Present, Tom Hingley & Mark Chadwick of the Levellers, among others.
They recently had a video featured and promoted on the AmericanaUK website, which came a very close second place in an artist competition ran by the site.
