Hope & Social describe themselves as ‘eight hoodlums who play all-out, ballsy, joyous and uplifting music’.
One of the UK’s hardest working bands, they have been winning the hearts of many a gig-goer for the past 10 years with a wonderful mix of musicianship and some of the finest songs you’ll ever hear, garnished with self-deprecating Northern humour and a touch of chaos.
With a three-piece horn section and five-part harmonies, Hope & Social make a massive sound that jumps across genres like cats on a hot plate. They’ve been dubbed ‘Yorkshire's own E-street Band', having chalked up an impressive list of gigs and Festival appearances including Greenbelt and Glastonbury.
You’ll sing, you’ll dance, you’ll smile so much your face will hurt…
“Rousing, joyous” - The Guardian
"Extraordinary songs, virtuoso performances, beautiful moments and music hall bonhomie!" Tom Robinson, BBC6Music
