What happens next
Applications will normally be processed withing three weeks of receiving the deposit. Offers of a place must be paid in full by the date then notified, or the place on camp may be at risk.
Applications are normally accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, but there are limited numbers of selected instruments to ensure a ensure a balanced programme. Once a place is confirmed and accepted refunds will not normally be given
Please note your offer of a place at camp requires your commitment for the whole week. There is much demand for a place at camp and they are offered to each camper with the understanding that they attend the entire week.
When we’ve received the full payment we’ll send you further information and forms about camps including a kit list, medical form, campers ‘contract’ and messages from the Camp Director.
Donations and Gift Aid
The NYMC and The Stables depend upon donations to help maintain and purchase new equipment and provide bursaries to enable young people who face additional challenges to attend camps. If you would like to support this work you can enclose a donation with this application, and add to the deposit amount.
Please consider ‘Gift Aid’ for any donation if you are a UK taxpayer – it makes your donation go further at no more cost to you.
You can complete a Gift Aid form online after you have submitted this application form - please follow the link on the final page of the application form

Gift Aid FormBursary scheme
The National Youth Music Camps are open to all levels of musical experience and no specific formal grade, examination or audition required. Any young person with an interest and commitment to music may apply. Although camp fees are kept as low as possible, we recognise that some young people with an interest and commitment to music may not be able to afford to apply to camps.
We have a limited number of bursaries to support applications from young people for whom personal and family circumstances mean they would otherwise be unable to attend camps. Anyone wishing to apply for a bursary must apply for camps in the normal way, including £30 deposit, and in addition complete the separate bursary application form.
Please note that we have a limited number of bursaries so all applications may not be successful. Bursaries are awarded based on need and so we will have to ask for information regarding family income and expenditure (including tax credits and other benefits) and supporting documents. All information received will be treated in strictest confidence.
